OKAYBRO BUILDS AWARD WINNING CONTENT FOR COMPANIES THAT WORK TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER, SMARTER AND RADDER PLACE TO LIVE.
We create EDIBLE CONTENT™, easily digestible brand MOMENTS that help strengthen your message through TECHNOLOGY, CULTURE, DESIGN AND STORYTELLING to gain cultural currency and love for your brand.
OKAYBRO is not your advertising agency. We don't believe in office ping pong tables or receptionists with British accents, holiday parties bungie jumping or legions of handlebar mustaches in our midst. Tons of layers only make sense in bean dip, not in the creative process and we think, "If you have to try, you probably shouldn't."
Shit we do believe in, Dive Bars, Legalized Marijuana, Skipping work for a well earned Pow Day, Late Nights, Black Coffee, +100K hours in this business, Senior Level Talent, Strategy, Creativity, Ideas...Lots and Lots of Ideas, The power of honesty and not doing spec work. Rainier Tall Boys and shots of Hornitos, Sneakers, Red Wings, and Danner Boots, We hate Nazis, support same sex marriage and believe the better you are at something the less you need to do it. We love our children, worship our wives and are loyal to our clients. If what we are saying makes sense to you...call us...we have a lot to talk about.
OKAYBRO! KEEP IT WACK!
OKAYBRO IS DAVE AND GABE
Dave is a widely recognized creative director that knows what it takes to get consumers passionate about brands. He has worked with companies large and small – helping to re-launch boutique coffee brand, Intelligentsia; leading 8 years worth of end-to- end branding campaigns for Gary Fisher Mountain Bikes; globally launching Kindle products at Amazon and creating long and short form content for Frito-Lay.
Dave’s work has been featured in AIGA 365, The Addys, Communication Arts, The Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, Coupe Mag, Fingerprint: The Art of Using Hand-Made Elements in Graphic Design, How Magazine, Print Magazine, Society of Illustrators, Type Directors Club.
Not much makes Dave happier, than a massive toe-side turn in blower pow, ribbons of single track or goofing off with his wife, kids and cross-eyed dog.
Seasoned industry innovator, Gabe has been at the helm of two agencies (now three) in Seattle beginning with General Public Inc. (2001-2007), his award-winning design firm that ensured the street cred (and global relevance) of brands like Nike, Microsoft, Hasbro, Starbucks, K2 Sports, Jones Soda, and Nordstrom. For the past 8 years, Gabe was partner and Co-Founder of Platform Inc. helping realign brands such as Visa, Brooks Running, Amazon, MSR, Coca Cola and HTC to name a few.
Gabe's work has been featured in How Magazine, Print Magazine, GD USA, Brand New, Desixner, The Dieline, Communication Arts, Graphis...
Gabe likes, surfing, snowboarding, coaching baseball, being a father and husband, and tinkering with motorcycles
